We took an afternoon and headed into Charleston to see the State Capital. It is always a nice stroll and there is an amazing memorial for those members of the military who have lost their lives fighting for our country. I've looked at it a few times, but never realized Jason had two family members listed on the wall. It was nice for his Dad to find their names and show them to my children. We will look for them now every time we go.
Could my kids just ever make normal faces??? Just smile is all I ask!
Don't even ask.....I don't know what she is doing..
I honestly don't remember the last time I saw this much white marble. It was beautiful.
Don't even comment on how nice this is that they are holding hands.....they are being punished. When I asked them to stop behaving like idiots and stop smacking each other....this is what they got for the next 20 mins. 13 year old brother had to hold 10 year old sister's hand. He was totally embarrassed and they didn't touch each other again for quite a while.
Look how thrilled they are...and we didn't even go through the museum. So pleasant to sight see with my children...LOL
